OUR WORK

Our Mission
Life Challenge Nepal provides love, hope and freedom for individuals and families affected by human trafficking, abuse & exploitations. From immediate rescue operations to long-term restoration, we have various programs to fulfill our mission of rescue, rebuild and restore, and bring lasting transformation for the vulnerable people of Nepal.
Our Programs

Rescue Home
Our secure 5-bed facility provides immediate safety for trafficking survivors rescued in collaboration with Nepal Police. We offer emergency safe shelter while coordinating long-term placement or family reunification. Since 2023, we’ve rescued 104 individuals from trafficking, abuse, and exploitation.

Community Scholarship
We provide full educational and living expense support for 18 rescued children who have been reunified with extended family members, typically grandmothers. This comprehensive sponsorship ensures children remain safe with loved ones while receiving quality education and ongoing support.

Women's Fellowship
Weekly women’s fellowship in Kathmandu’s slum area offering spiritual guidance, and peer support for women involved in prostitution. We’ve successfully helped several women transition to alternative employment and provided emergency assistance during floods and community crises.

After School Program
Our daily after schoolprogram serves 25-30 children from homes affected by prostitution and trafficking. We provide educational support, nutritious meals, school materials and spiritual mentoring while ensuring previously unschooled children are enrolled in government schools.

Relief & Development
During natural disasters of flood and earthquakes, we provide immediate relief including food, shelter, clothing and other supplies. We also partner with other agencies to help rebuild homes and create sustainable employment opportunities, to help families achieve economic independence.

NEW VISION
Our future vision is to establish a larger long-term residential facility which will provide extended spiritual mentoring, comprehensive life skills training, and sustainable employment preparation to ensure lasting transformation and prevent re-trafficking.
Rescue Home Impact
These numbers represent our impact through the 5-bed rescue and transition home, which opened in 2023. This does not include the hundreds of additional individuals served through our after-school programs, women’s fellowships, and community outreach initiatives.
